Best Dressings At Cava: My Top List

Cava is one of the famous spots for nutritious and delicious salads with multiple vegetable, grain, or meat options.

But these salads are incomplete without the dressings because they are unique and different from each other to pump the taste.

However, you will find some sauces at stores that are not included in the Cava Grill menu.

Below I’ll share my top dressings at Cava, offering you a flavorful roadmap to elevate your Cava experience. Let’s dive into the delicious details.

12 Best Dressings at Cava

Below, I mentioned Best Dressings at Cava with their ingredients, and nutrient benefits that go along with your salad.

Best Dressings at Cava

1. Tahini Caesar

For Vegan and Mediterranean salad lovers, this one’s for you as CAVA has tahini caesar salad filled with tempting grilled chicken, pickle onions, pita, and some greens. It is the perfect package of nutrients you will relish while dieting.

But, the salad is complete with the main ingredient: Tahini Caesar flavoring poured at the top. This spicy sauce has 90 calories and 2 grams of protein, made from some simple yet unique element that adds the flavor of the salads.

  • Dijon mustard
  • Black pepper
  • Oregano
  • Tahini paste

2.Spicy Turmeric Tahini

As the name suggests, this dressing has four main ingredients: tahini, turmeric, and black pepper, which have the essence of desi Asian chutneys. The turmeric dressing has a mouth-watering effect on your salads due to the lemon juice adding the flavor for tanginess.

Its creamy texture and spicy taste go well with your chicken dishes, or pitas to add extra flavors.

You can enjoy it best with kale and avocado salads without worrying about gaining weight, as it has 70 calories per serving.

But I will give some extra points because of the healthy benefits, such as:

  • Easy digestion
  • Prevent inflammation
  • High in curcumin

3.Greek Vinaigrette

It has a liquidy texture ideal for veg and non-veg salads with a powerful punch of flavors. This Greece-inspired dressing has a bold taste because of the garlic, dijon mustard, peppers, and vinegar.

Still, the star ingredient is oregano, which balances the tangy and spicy taste, making it an outstanding combination.

You can have this Greek vinaigrette dressing with green and grain salad bowls or dip in crisps.

But, the drawback is that it can ruin your low-calorie diet plan as it has 130 calories per serving. I was disappointed at CAVA Grilled using red wine vinegar, which has long-term side effects such as nausea and indigestion.

4.Garlic Dressing

People are crazy for garlic dressing as it makes the mind-blowing combo of sweetness, savory and spiciness. It boosts the taste of meat bowls or you can dip the peta in it.

However, the white, thick creamy sauce contains 180 calories per serving, and 20 grams of fat, so you can avoid it to maintain your diet plan.

On cheat days, you can have it as it’s one of the best garlicky flavor sauce that goes great with salads.

I am a big fan of this dressing as it mouth-watering and kicks the flavors by using simple ingredients:

  • Garlic
  • Lemon juice
  • Aquafaba Juice
  • Salt
  • Control oil

5.Hot Harissa Vinaigrette

Sweet, smokey, and spicy flavors with a refreshing reddish color, this dressing is what you need for salads.

You can have hot harissa vinaigrette with everything, such as falafel, salads, or pitas because the spicy heat raises the taste and makes it more flavorful.

This is another dressing at CAVA, which is gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians. Although it has 70 percent calories, one gram of carbohydrates, and 220 mg of sodium, blending it flawlessly with a vegan diet.

6. Skhug (Zhug)

You will love adding this green dressing to any salad with extra toppings because of the balanced spiciness and slightly sweet flavors.

It has some regular ingredients mentioned in other sauces but the game is changed due to the large amount of jalapeno and cilantro with lots of olive oil.

Making it a healthy option fits your diet plan, as it has only 80 calories per serving.

This vegan sauce pumps the taste and is perfect for types of salad bowls such as:

  • Greens and grains
  • Market Spicy
  • Harissa Avocado
  • Chicken plus Rightrice
  • Greek Salad

7. Green Harissa

When you visit CAVA Green harissa is unavailable on the menu or ordered online. There is no legitimate reason, but you can find this at whole food shops or websites.

This dressing is to have at home as seems vibrant and taste delicious; they prepared this by using simple ingredients:

  • Jalapeno pepper
  • Coriander
  • Lemon juice
  • Onion
  • Cilantro
  • Spices

All the spices increase the flavor of the salad bowls, and are made by prioritizing your health and dieting plan.

It has 80 calories, 150 mg sodium, and 1 percent carbohydrates and I will give some extra points as it’s gluten-free and vegan.

8.Yogurt Dill

Yogurt dill is refreshing and best dressing for summer salad as it contains low calories, minimal carbohydrates, and sodium.

The shredded cucumber and fresh dill stand out from the rest of the CAVA dressings, making it delightful and healthy, perfect for vegetarians and keto diets.

The good news is that you can easily find this at local stores and on the CAVA menu to add flavors in the salads and wraps.

This dressing is on my list because it can be used to marinate chicken, side sauces, or dips for chips.

9. Preserved Lemon Vinaigrette

Another flavorful dressing is preserved lemon vinaigrette, made from three main ingredients: lemon juice, olive oil, and lemon paste. For summers, this will complete your salad bowls with tangy, and citrusy taste to beat the heat.

Undoubtedly, this is one of the most fan-favorite sauces, but it contains 130 calories, and 60 grams of sodium because of the high quantity of olive oil.

Lemon herb Tahini

10.Lemon Herb Tahini

Saving the best for last, this is the most popular dressing at CAVA Grill. Lemon herb tahini dressing is my all-time favorite, the balance between creamy, nutty and spicy flavor is excellent for pita bread, salad bowls, and veggie sticks.

Moreover, this dressing is made from fine ingredients, making it dairy-free, gluten-free, and perfect for vegans.

It’s worth trying sauce with healthy benefits due to herbs that support your dieting and kickin’ the flavors of boring salads.  It’s ingredients :

  • Parsley
  • Basil leaves
  • Cilantro
  • Lemon zest

11.Spicy Lime Tahini

I find spicy lime dressing at stores but have never seen it on the CAVA menu dressing section. After trying this, it became my go-to salad dressing, and it has a delicious tangy and spicy combination.

Like most of the CAVA grill dressings, this one is also vegan and gluten-free for people with allergies.

While dieting, you can pour this sauce on salads as it has 80 calories and zero carbohydrates, which is ideal for a weight loss plan.

Personal Recommendation

When it comes to the best dressing at Cava, my absolute favorite has to be the “Lemon herb Tahini “

This creamy and nutty dressing strikes the perfect balance between flavors.

Made with parsley,  sesame tahini,  basil leaves, cilantro, salt, and a hint of lemon zest, it brings a delightful fusion of creaminess, nuttiness, and a spicy kick to your salads, pita bread, and veggie sticks.

Plus, it’s a vegan and gluten-free option, making it ideal for everyone.

Final Verdicts

So there you have it. In my exploration of CAVA’s delightful dressings, I uncovered a vibrant array of flavors that elevate any salad. However, CAVA is always at the top of my list of favorite restaurants.

From the tempting Tahini Caesar to the zesty Spicy Lime Tahini, each dressing offered a unique twist.

While some, like the indulgent Garlic Dressing, are best for cheat days, others like the refreshing Yogurt Dill make for guilt-free indulgence.
